All my weightloss clinic clients are given specific instructions based on what foods to consume based on their metaolic rate, so their nutrition intake is specific to them. Protein Pancakes: Shrove Tuesday

It's that time of year again..... Shrove Tuesday!!
As people prepare for their 40 days of lent, many see pancake day as a way to overindulge. Why not give this great recipe a go so you can enjoy the day without missing out or worrying about your waistline!!
Enjoy!!

Ingredients:
-1 egg,
-1 tbsp coconut flour,
-1 scoop Juice Plus+ protein powder
-1/8 tsp baking powder,
-coconut oil,
-dash of vanilla extract, and
-water or milk (rice, coconut, almond)
Method:
-add egg and vanilla to a bowl and whisk,
-add coconut flour, baking powder and protein powder to the bowl and mix together until there are no lumps,
-if the mixture is too thick add small amounts of water or milk until desired consistency,
-heat a little coconut oil in a frying pan and set to a medium heat,
-add batter to the pan according to the size of the pancakes you want
-(additional ingredients could also be added at this stage)
-wait until bubbles appear in the top of the pancake before flipping
-cook until browned on both sides
Serving suggestion:
-nut butter,
-freshly prepared fruit (Fresh Bluberries)
-greek yogurt and nuts/seeds,
-100% fruit jam.
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
-lemon juice
-honey
